Lives in Pt. Richmond, CA James grew up water skiing and sailing Sunfish on the Delta in California and began racing CFJ’s as a high school freshman. He also began learning how to crew on keel boats in the local beer can races. He now has over 60,000 miles of ocean sailing experience including 3 TransPacs, 3 Pacific Cups, 8 deliveries back from Hawaii to California, 5 races to Mexico and deliveries back, and countless coastal and inshore races and deliveries.
